This checklist is distributed and explained during my PC Repair and Maintenance presentation. Please check the Videos section for further information. Feel free to print this and pass it on, but please leave my website address on the form.

___ Back up ALL Documents, or any files of importance (Then verify)!
___ Start Computer if not already on
___ Download RKill and start the program
___ Download VundoFix and start the program (May require reboot, do not, just leave the window open)
___ Download TDSS Killer and start the program, allowing to scan
___ Download CCLeaner and start the program
            Cleaner Page: Click “Run Cleaner”
            Registry Page: Click “Scan for Issues”, then “Fix selected issues”, then “No”, then “Fix All”
            Tools Page: Click “Startup” and disable any non-essential programs (Adobe, Updates, Flash, etc)
            Uninstall Page: Remove any Anti-Virus, unused programs, and “Spyware” programs
___ Download Malware Bytes and start the program
            Update Tab: Check for updates and allow update download
            Scanner Tab: Select “Perform Full Scan”, then click “Scan” button, Select C Drive and select “Scan”
            When finished, close all windows. If prompted to reboot, say no
___ Download and install MS Security Essentials. Allow to update and scan
___ Download and install Super Anti Spyware then start program
            Click the “Check for Updates” button and allow to update
            Click the “Scan your Computer” button
            Select the C: only and perform “Complete Scan”
___ Install / Run: Spybot
            Get All Updates
            Check For Problems
            Fix All Problems
___ Reboot
___ Click: Start > Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Disk Cleanup. Click OK. Click More Options
            Click “Clean up…” button near bottom under “System Restore”. Click “OK” and verify to begin.
___ Windows Update: Start > Control Panel > Windows Update (Or through Internet Explorer Tools)
            Check for updates, install default updates, may require reboot when complete
___ Check: Start > Control Panel > Windows Firewall (Make sure it is set to “ON”)
___ Download / Install MozillaFirefox Browser (download at www.computercrimeinfo.com)
___ Click: Start > Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Disk Defragmenter
            Choose “Defragment” for the C Drive
___ Create backup solution
            Backup often
            Store backups safely
